I was born in 1986 In Espoo, southern city in Finland. I started studying arts in elementary school, going weekly to afterschool art classes. The grade 9 I studied in art specialized class. From there I moved to study in the biggest art oriented upper secondary school in Finland, where I chose to major in computer graphics. From there I applied to University of arts and design Helsinki and got accepted with the first try, straight from upper secondary school. I studied 2years in art education major, before applying to Queensland collage of arts, Australia. I transferred to Australia in August 2008.

I got interested in photography by first modeling to several photographers. Seeing them work inspired me to buy my own camera and start experimenting with different set-ups. In the beginning I mostly shot self portraits, but as a got better with my photography I started getting contacts from people wanting to model in my photos.
